It won the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award from the American Library Association. During the week of July 29, 2012, Looking for Alaska broke into the New York Times best seller list at number ten Children's Paperback, more tham seven years after it was released. Despite it's literary succes, Looking for Alaska has often been challenged in public districts for content considered inappropiate. Here you have the prologue and the plot of the novel.
